Since 1931 Lydecker Realty has been part of Rockland County and the Nyack-Piermont area. Homer Lydecker Sr. began selling real estate and insurance from our first office near the YMCA and HSBC Bank on Broadway in Nyack. Homer Lydecker Jr. joined him in the business in 1949, and in the 1970’s Dale Lydecker began his career in the same business. As a family with Dutch roots, there is much pride in our traditions and the many friends we have made through generations of families growing up in the area. In the late 1980’s Jill Wells joined the family business. Rockland was changing quickly at that point and the influx of many new people desiring to locate near NYC, but to live in the country became important to the revitilization of the County. Our mission is to make the customer happy with their real estate decisions. We do this with the utmost integrity, as an old friend used to say; ‘by doin’ good even when nobody is looking’. Up-to-the-minute listing and resource information is available on this web site. Our hours are 9-5 weekdays and 10-5 weekends with agents available before and after hours for your convenience.
